Eastwood Blessings Early Learning and Preschool respects the privacy of the families who contact us. This policy explains what information this website collects, why, and what we do with it. It covers the website only — information you give us during enrolment is handled under our centre privacy policy, which we provide with your enrolment paperwork.

What we collect
When you fill in a form on this website, we collect what you type into it:
- your name, email address and phone number
- your child’s name, date of birth, and when you would like them to start
- anything you write in the message box
We ask for your child’s details only so we can tell you whether we have a place in the right age group. You do not have to fill in any field you would rather not — send us a message with only your contact details and we will work it out from there.
When you browse the site we also collect standard website information: the pages you visit, roughly where in the world you are, what browser you use, and your IP address. This comes through Google Analytics. It tells us which pages families find useful. It does not tell us who you are.
Our security software records the IP addresses of failed login attempts to the website’s admin area. That is to keep the site safe and has nothing to do with enquiries from families.
What we do with it
We use your enquiry to reply to you, answer your questions, arrange a tour, and add you to our waitlist if you ask us to.
We do not sell your information. We do not use it to send marketing. We do not share it with anyone outside the businesses that help us run the centre and the website.
Who else sees it
Your enquiry arrives as an email to the centre. To get it to us it passes through our website host, who runs the website, and our email provider, who delivers and stores the email. Google Analytics receives the browsing information described above. That is the full list.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that lead to an enrolment become part of your child’s enrolment record and are kept as required by childcare regulations.
Enquiries that do not lead to an enrolment are kept no longer than two years, then deleted. If you would like yours deleted sooner, just ask.
Keeping it safe
The website uses an encrypted connection, so what you type into a form is protected on its way to us. Access to the website’s admin area is limited to people who need it and is protected by two-factor authentication.
No website can promise perfect security and we will not pretend otherwise. If something happens that affects your information, we will tell you.
Seeing, correcting or deleting your information
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@eastwoodblessings.com.au or phone (02) 9868 7595 and we will sort it out. There is no charge.
Cookies
This site sets two cookies, both belonging to Google Analytics. They are named “_ga” and “_ga_” followed by a string of letters and numbers, and they last about 13 months. They tell us whether you are a returning visitor and which pages you looked at. They do not identify you by name and we do not use them for advertising.
The site also loads fonts and analytics code from Google, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and the site will work normally. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, so there is nothing else to switch off.

If you are not satisfied with how we deal with it, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the website handles your information we will update this page and change the date at the top.
